Welcome to the Grand Designs Home Collection.
Here you will discover impeccable craftsmanship and style.
The collection is inspired by the Grand Designs Australia TV series that airs on Foxtel’s Lifestyle channel, hosted by architect Peter Maddison. The series shares an authentic and personal insight into the stories behind some of the country’s most inspirational builds. No location is too far, no vision off limits. We’re proud to offer you a slice of timeless appeal that is quintessentially Grand Designs.
Across our range, natural materials take centre stage. Notice the incomparable colours, textures and subtleties of elm, oak, bamboo, rattan, linen and wool. Meanwhile, ceramics and art glass are done in beautifully earthy tones. Our collection is designed to bring something new and unique to home living. Many items deliver impact through scale, and all tie in with each other for a coordinated look.
While perusing our furniture, lighting, faux plants, textiles and decor – rest assured that each piece has been developed by the experts. We have drawn on years of experience and passion to bring you pieces with character and distinction. See what’s possible on Grand Designs Australia only on Lifestyle on Foxtel.
Each piece in the Grand Designs Home Collection tells a story.
When it comes to fabric, natural fibres are key to luxury and elegance. The Collection uses linen, cotton, wool and hide for soft furnishings with quality that can be felt. For Summer we’re introducing three new cushions in a versatile, neutral palette.
This season we introduce the stunning Johnston linen sofa and ottoman range in two new colours – natural taupe and classic grey. Both colours look gorgeous in any setting and are made with solid birch wood frames and feather-fill-foam stuffing for supreme comfort. We also offer the luxurious and timeless Walker range.
Oak furniture is sophisticated, attractive and sturdy. The Collection uses solid oak logs that have been fashioned to size, kiln dried and coated with wax oil to bring out a striking grain and varied natural colour. These stunning pieces command attention in any room.
Every type of wood possesses its own story in its own colour, texture and grain. To create a collection with depth and diversity we’ve used reclaimed elm, acacia, rattan, paulownia and sandblasted mango with eucalyptus. This results in a spectrum of timber - letting you create appealing contrasts between pieces.
These pieces explore both abstract form and scale. We’ve curated sizeable wall décor that looks like art you’d expect to see hanging in a gallery. Thanks to its sand-scattered surface, the new Gower canvas exudes artistic credibility.
Genuine hide gives these pieces beautiful nuances in tone and pattern. However, we’ve chosen a refreshingly neutral colour palette that lets the hide’s sumptuous natural texture remain focal. The outcome is both fashionable and luxurious.
Grand proportions give each décor item outstanding impact. Pieces here have a well-travelled look, but work perfectly when styled together. Notable new additions for the season are our bamboo and rattan lamp designs.
It’s not often that faux greenery so closely mimics nature. This season, olive trees and succulents bring new textural and tonal depth to the Collection. We also present a stunning native banksia arrangement, put together by our florists in Melbourne.
With their generous proportions, these mirrors make important interior design statements. They open up rooms to new spatial dimensions and make the most of natural light. This season, our new solid oak-framed Griffin mirror ties in with the Collection’s wooden furniture.
